This sensor is battery powered and small so it can be installed almost anywhere. I placed it in my garage above the sink as I want to monitor the temperature in my insulated but unheated garage. Easy to install using the Slarm.com phone app.

Nice add-on to ADC thermostat

I bought a few of these to enhance my HVAC system controlled by ADC-T3000 thermostats. I put them in rooms far away from the thermostats, and now the system automatically averages the temperature. They integrate well with the alarm.com app. Note: They sometimes take a few hours to show humidity reading in the app.
